The following directions are used to troubleshoot your iPad when it repeatedly freezes, crashes, or behaves unexpectedly. Remember too, turning your device off and back on again can solve most behavior problems.
NOTE: These steps will close all open tabs in Safari and logout of websites.
- Goto the Settings app on your iPad.
- Tab 'Safari' from the sidebar.
- If it's available, tap 'Clear History and Website Data'. Proceed to step 4 if it's unavailable.
- Tap 'Advanced'.
- Tap 'Website Data'.
- If it's available, tap 'Remove All Website Data'. If it's also unavailable the website data is already cleared.
